ASTORIA, QUEENS — A group of men attacked a man outside an Astoria deli and stole his e-bike on Tuesday, according to police, who released video of the robbery.
The 23-year-old victim had just walked out of the Mi Esquinita bodega on the corner of 30th Road and 14th Street at around 9:30 p.m., and was getting onto his e-bike when the group walked up, police said.
Video released Thursday shows one man drag the victim off of his e-bike, sending them both toppling to the sidewalk. Two other men then start hitting the victim, with one using what appears to be a bottled drink, according to police and video.
