Man Found Dead On Floor Of Subway Car In Astoria: NYPD

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A 62-year-old man was found dead on a subway train in Astoria early Thursday, according to the police.

A subway rider called the police after spotting a man laying unconscious on the floor of an N train car at the Ditmars Boulevard station about 4:30 a.m., police said.

The medical examiner's office is investigating how the man died.

Authorities will release his name pending proper family notification.
