SUNNYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are searching for a man who they say groped a woman while she was traveling on a 7 train on Thursday.

In the middle of the day, around 11:25 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 2, a 33-year-old woman was traveling on a Sunnyside-bound 7 train.

As the train approached the 46 Street-Bliss Street subway station, the woman felt a man come up behind her and touch her rear end, police reported.

She quickly got off the train at the Sunnyside station, while the man who groped her stayed aboard, according to the NYPD.

Later, on Thursday night, police released a photo of the man from the subway station.
