Man Hit, Killed By Subway Train In Long Island City: Police
A subway motorman made a grisly discovery early Thursday when he came upon a man who had apparently been hit and killed by a previous train.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A man believed to be homeless was found dead in a Long Island City subway tunnel after having been hit by a train, according to police.
Around 12:45 a.m. Thursday, the motorman of a northbound F train had just pulled out of the 21st Street–Queensbridge station when, about 300 feet into the tunnel, he saw a man lying on the tracks.
The motorman managed to hit the brakes before hitting him, and called paramedics to the scene. Once they arrived, however, they discovered that the man was already deceased, with injuries suggesting he had been hit by a previous train, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
