A man was shot Saturday night outside an Astoria building that neighbors told the New York Post has been the site of raucous parties.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A man was shot multiple times Saturday night outside an Astoria building that is marked as a church but has been hosting raucous parties three nights a week, according to a news report.
The 26-year-old man was shot in the ankle, knee and buttocks about 11:30 p.m. outside an Astoria Boulevard building with a sign that reads "House of Prayer and Deliverance Church," the New York Post reported.
But there were no Sunday services the next morning in the building, which was sold two years ago, according to the Post.

Instead, the building at 8-23 Astoria Blvd. has been hosting parties with gambling and drugs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, neighbors told the Post.
The building's owner told the Post that the ground floor was empty and that he had "no idea" people had complained.
