ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are still looking for two men, one of whom is accused of stabbing another man with a knife outside of an Astoria deli last week.

Early last Monday morning, around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 6, a 35-year-old man was hanging out with a group of friends in front of a bodega, located at 24-01 31 Street in Astoria, when a pair of men who he didn't know walked over to them, records show.

What started as a verbal fight between the two groups quickly escalated into a physical attack when one of the unknown men pulled out a knife and stabbed the 35-year-old in the stomach, according to the NYPD.
