'Manifest' Final Season Features Scenes In Astoria, LIC: Sources
The fan-favorite show, which Netflix renewed for a final season after pressure from viewers, has scenes filmed in northwest Queens.

ASTORIA-LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — The fourth and final season of fan-favorite TV drama, Manifest, has scenes filmed in Astoria and Long Island City, sources say.
After NBC canceled the show on a cliffhanger in July, fans and actors participated in a #SaveManifest campaign, prompting Netflix to renew the drama, which topped the streaming service’s charts amid the renewal effort.
The series centers on the passengers and crew of Flight 828, who return to New York City from Jamaica only to learn that their flight had been missing for five years.

Queensbridge Park and Hunter’s Point South Park are also reportedly depicted on the show.
Queens plays a specific role in Manifest, since two of the series’ main characters, Ben Stone, played by Josh Dallas, and his wife Grace Stone, played by Athena Karkanis, live in the borough.
This is far from the first time that northwest Queens was featured in a television series — just a couple of weeks ago, a TV series remake of David Cronenberg's cult-classic film, Dead Ringers, filmed at a bar in Astoria.
Fans can expect the 20-episode, fourth season of Manifest to come out in the spring of 2022, Marie Claire reported.
