Motorcyclist Killed In Woodside Truck Crash, Police Say

A Queens man was run over and killed by a box truck Wednesday while riding his motorcycle along Queens Boulevard, police said.

The 42-year-old man was riding his motorcycle around 6 a.m. Wednesday and approaching the intersection of 58th Street, when he made contact with the side of a box truck that was driving alongside him, police said.

WOODSIDE, QUEENS — A man riding a motorcycle was killed Wednesday when he was run over by a truck while riding along Queens Boulevard in Woodside, police said.

The 42-year-old man was riding his motorcycle around 6 a.m. Wednesday and approaching the intersection of 58th Street, when he made contact with the side of a box truck that was driving alongside him, police said.

The man, identified as Diego Sesta, fell under the truck, which then rolled over him, according to police.

Police found Sesta lying on the road with trauma to the body, authorities said. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital but could not be saved, police said.

Sesta lived in Elmhurst, according to police. Police have made no arrests, but said an investigation is ongoing.
