Queer Book Fair Brings Hundreds Of Titles To Astoria
The Rolling Library's Queer book fair will take place on Saturday, June 3, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 31st Avenue and 34th Street.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A mutual aid group focused on providing free books to the community is hosting a free Queer book fair this weekend in Astoria.
The Rolling Library's Queer book fair will take place on Saturday, June 3, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 31st Avenue and 34th Street.
The fair will have hundreds of free LGBTQIA+ books in all genres and for all ages throughout the afternoon. Attendees can also participate in self-defense workshops, while younger New Yorkers can stay for the storytime portion of the event.

Astoria Food Pantry will also be collecting donations for their facility, adding up to their supplies of menstrual pads, cereal, hair products, and other items.
The People's Bodega, a volunteer-led mobile mutual aid group, will be handing out free snacks, water and zines.

The group "Queers and Their Canines" will host a meet-up and a tie-dye station to make matching handkerchiefs for participants and their pups, while Astoria Pet Fair will have a doggy pool for canines at the event.
