Roosevelt Island 13-Year-Old Has Been Missing Since Thanksgiving
The teenager was last seen at a family gathering on Thanksgiving Day. As of Tuesday morning she is still missing, police said.

ROOSEVELT ISLAND, QUEENS — Police are asking for help finding a Roosevelt Island teenager who hasn't been seen since Thanksgiving Day.
Shamya Brown- Smith, 13, lives on Roosevelt Island at 460 Main Street, said police, who surveil the island as well as northwest Queens. On the early evening of Thursday, Nov. 25th, around 4:00 p.m., she went to a family party near the Brooklyn Navy Yard, at 60 Carlton Avenue.
Brown- Smith hasn't been seen since, said police, who were still looking for her as of Nov. 30th — nearly a week after she went missing.

Police described her as 5 feet tall and 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a brown fur coat, a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white sneakers, and had her hair pulled up into a blonde ponytail.
The NYPD shared a photo of Brown- Smith and asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
