SEE IT: Shootout In Long Island City; Police Search For Gunmen

The two men opened gunfire at each other, and continued shooting as they ran away from the LIC street, video obtained by the NYPD shows.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Police are looking for two men who exchanged gunfire on a Long Island City street last month, in an incident captured on video.

On the early evening of Wednesday, July 28, around 6:40 p.m., one man approached another in front of 41-01 12 Street in Long Island City, police said.

The two men shot at each other, and continued the gunfire as they ran away from the area, according to video footage obtained by the NYPD.

Neither of the men, or anybody passersby, were hurt during the shootout, according to the police. No property was damaged either, police said.

As of mid-Aug police still had not identified either of the men involved in the shootout. On Aug. 25 police said that no arrests have been made and that the case remains ongoing.
