The Bar at JACX&CO is the latest addition to the 15,000-square-foot food hall in Long Island City. A happy hour deal will toast the opening.
LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS— A new bar has opened in the sprawling Long Island City food hall known as JACX&CO, owners announced Thursday, offering a lengthy drink menu along with happy hour deals.
The two-story, 15,700-square-foot food hall opened in the fall of 2020 at 28-17 Jackson Ave., near Queens Boulevard — at the base of the 26-story JACX office tower. Food offerings include the Mediterranean spot Taïm, taco purveyor Méxology, and the Cantonese barbecue restaurant Lotus + Cleaver.
Now, owners Tishman Speyer have officially opened The Bar at JACX&CO, described as a "vibrant new gathering space" serving cocktails, wine, cider and beer.

During the warmer months, the bar will host regular events like trivia and comedy, and the space can also be booked for events, owners said.
"The Bar at JACX&CO provides a multifaceted gathering place for friends, family, co-workers, and visitors in Long Island City,” JACX&CO general manager Shana Watts said in a statement. "We love our vibrant neighborhood and aim to be a true community hub, offering a diverse collection of food, beverages, and event programming."
The bar is open Sunday-Thursday from noon to 9 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
