Subway Conductor Beaten, Robbed By Teens At LIC Station: Police
Four young people assaulted an N train conductor and stole his keys as he pulled into a Long Island City station this week, police said.

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — A subway conductor was assaulted and robbed of his keys by a group of teens in a Long Island City subway station Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Four teenagers attacked the 40-year-old man moments after the northbound N train pulled into the subway station at 27th Street and Queens Plaza South about 4:15 p.m., police said.
The conductor had just opened his train car window to make announcements when one teen pushed and knocked him down, police said.

A second leaned into the open train car window and snatched the conductor's train keys, police said.
The four then ran out of an emergency exit and left the station, police said.

The conductor, who suffered a left arm injury, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital-Queens, where he was treated and released, police said.
Police on Thursday released surveillance footage showing at least three of the suspects.
