Sunnyside Teen, 14, Missing From Midtown Subway, Police Say

SUNNYSIDE, QUEENS — A Sunnyside teenager disappeared in Midtown this week, according to police.

Maria Cano, 14, was last spotted at the 50th Street subway station near Eighth Avenue about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

Cano, who lives near 48th Avenue and 44th Street in Queens, hasn't been seen since, according to police.

The teen stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, has brown eyes and black hair, police said, adding that she was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black pants, and black Crocs.

The NYPD shared a photo of Cano and asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
