Teenager Disappears From Ditmars Home, Police Say

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Police are searching for a teenage boy who they say went missing from his Ditmars Steinway home on Wednesday.

Malcolm Monroe, 15, was last seen around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 11 leaving his home at 71-11 Astoria Boulevard, said the NYPD.

Monroe was still missing as of Thursday morning, police reported.

He was described by the NYPD as 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing navy blue sweatpants, black and white Nike sneakers, and a black shirt emblazoned with the word 'NARUOTO' on it.
