ASTORIA, QUEENS — A mysterious woman found dead in Astoria last week was murdered, according to police.
The death of a 28-year-old woman found with gashes in her chest on Steinway Street and 25th Avenue Thursday afternoon has been ruled a homicide, police announced Monday.
Police officers found the woman after someone called 911 to report a foul smell coming from the room, according to the NYPD.
