Woman Mugged At Knifepoint In LIC: Police

LONG ISLAND CITY, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who mugged a woman at knifepoint one night last month in Long Island City.

The 33-year-old woman was outside the Queensbridge Houses just before midnight on Oct. 29 when a man came up to her, pulled out a knife and demanded her money, the NYPD said in a news release.

He fled with the woman's personal belongings into a building at 40-09 12 St., part of Queensbridge North, according to police.

The woman was unharmed, police said.
