Woodside Papa John's Closed After Mice Found In Health Inspection
The Health Department slapped the pizza chain on 30th Avenue with 41 violation points after a recent inspection unveiled mice in the eatery.

WOODSIDE, QUEENS -- The NYC Health Department temporarily shut down a Papa John's Pizza in Woodside after an inspection yielded mice and other contamination risks inside the pizzeria.
Papa John's on the corner of 30th Ave and 50th Street was closed after failing the Health Department's inspection on Jan. 26. The pizzeria racked up a whopping 41 violation points - eateries must score under 14 for an A and 28 to stay open - for three health citations, two of which were critical, health department records show.
The Health Department wrote up the pizza chain for having mice or live mice present in its food and/or non-food areas, failing to adequately protect its food from contamination, and not vermin-proofing the facility by harboring "conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises," the report said.
