2011 Graduates Display Design Talent

Three Babylon High School seniors got the chance to put their design skills in the forefront, literally, when they decorated the display windows at Pandemonium Boutique.

Kaylee Dopkins, Cassandra Halko and Courtney Vogel, three graduating seniors, put the finishing touches on their school year accomplishments by practicing a little of what they plan to study next year: fashion, design, merchandising, and business know-how.

The four elements all came into play when the group of teens conceptualized and executed original window designs at Pandemonium, a Babylon Village women's clothing shop.

Kathy Diandrea, an employee at the popular retail store, said the young women "did an amazing job."

"I know they are all interested in fashion and all got into great schools," she noted.

The windows had an end-of-the-school-year theme, with a mix of beach accessories and schoolbooks setting off the latest summer fashion trends. The girls each signed their names on the windows.

Owner Jacqueline Di Donato congratulated the girls on their work on the retail store's Facebook page: "We are very proud of these young women on a job well done. Congratulations and good luck ladies."
