3 Hospitalized After Car Crash On LI: Video

A car crash involving 3 vehicles hospitalized a pedestrian and 2 other people on Friday, Suffolk police say.

BABYLON VILLAGE, NY — A car crash hospitalized three people including a pedestrian on Long Island on Friday, according to Suffolk County police.

Police told Patch a southbound 2000 Chrysler failed to stop at a stop sign at the corner of Cottage Row and Main Street in Babylon Village around 1:15 p.m.

The Chrysler struck a 2017 Honda, a 2014 Dodge, a parked 2023 Nissan and a pedestrian, police said.

Three people were transported to local hospitals for treatment of minor injurie, police said.

A video obtained by Patch captured by Ferraro's Wine and Liquor at 66 W Main St., shows the Chrysler hitting a vehicle head on, resulting in the vehicle spinning in circles, narrowly missing another pedestrian.

The driver of the Chrysler said there was a mechanical failure with her vehicle, according to police.
