5 Things to Know: Feb. 28

1. Patch Forecast – The heavy rains get out of the area, but showers will linger in Babylon Village throughout your Thursday. Rain should leave by the evening, leading to clearing throughout the night. Afternoon highs will be around 46° and will dip to 36° during the night.

2. Boy Scout Troop 1 will meet at the West Islip Swimming Pool at 6:45 p.m.

3. Come out for some Fun & Games at West Babylon Public Library at 1 p.m. Join others in games of Scrabble or Mah Jong or start a different game. Sign up at the Circulation Desk. All players and walk-ins are welcome.

4. Congregation Beth Sholom will be hosting a Senior Social Time starting at 12:30 p.m. Open to the public, local residents are invited for an afternoon of cards, conversation, coffee and company.
