At The Libraries: May 13
All of the events going on at our local libraries this week.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week. Babylon and West Babylon Public Libraries often host these events for little or no charge, so check out the top five events going on this week.
- Learn all about Hearing Loss and You at West Babylon Public Library at 10 a.m. on Wed., May 15. Free hearing screenings will be given by Long Island Hearing – walk-ins welcome.
- Teddy Bear Time will take place for 4 and 5 year olds at Babylon Public Library at 12 p.m. on Thurs., May 16. Children get to enjoy a story and a craft!
- West Babylon Public Library will host a Veterans Information Table regarding benefits for returning soliders and long-time vets. The table opens at 10 a.m. on Fri., May 17.
- Babylon Public Library will host My First Storytime for children 6 to 23 months old, including story time and songs on Fri., May 17 at 10 a.m.
- An Animal Adoption Fair will take place at the Babylon Public Library on Sat., May 18 starting at 11 a.m. featuring pets from the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. Help out a furry friend and take home a new family member on Saturday!
