Babylon Adoptable Pet of The Week: London

BABYLON, NY — London, an eight-year-old, tan, pit bull terrier mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter’s Adoptable Pet of the Week.

London came to the shelter on March 31, when her owner became homeless.

Volunteers said that she is a “very loving girl with no signs of entering her senior years anytime soon.”

London loves attention and making new friends, the shelter said.

Although she hasn’t been so much of a fan of other dogs at the shelter, she is used to exercising as a running partner and also playing fetch with her previous owner.

Above all, she loves her tennis balls.

“A game of fetch does require playing with two balls because it’s just so hard to give up the one you are returning with!” volunteers said. “London would pretty much like to do whatever you do, as long as she can do it with you.”
