Despite his tragic past, Tobias is a "very happy guy" who is looking for "a life that he has never had." Will you be his forever home?
TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Tobias, a 5-year-old white and tan, pit bull terrier, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet of The Week.
This brown-eyed boy arrived at the shelter on March 8 after he was found abandoned overnight in a local dog park run.
Volunteers said that Tobias is happy to greet everybody, but he can get carried away and does best with calm acknowledgement in order to keep his exuberance at a lower level.

"Tobias needs a home where he can build a relationship yet learn the boundaries and behaviors necessary to keep that relationship whole," they said.
He has many body scar implications of a rough past life, and "he so deserves more" than that.
"Come meet this very happy guy and know that you could bring him a life that he has never had," they said.
