Babylon Animal Shelter Adoptable Pet of The Week: Missy

BABYLON, NY — Missy, a black-and-white domestic short hair mix, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Adoptable Pet of The Week.

This green-eyed girl arrived at the shelter more than one year ago, on November 17, 2021 at two or three years old.

"Missy is a low maintenance kind of gal," volunteers said. "She is not yet a lay in your lap type of gal, but she does like to cuddle on a blanket or soft bed near you."

The shelter also said that she loves her treats and lets her caretakers know that she appreciates them.

"Missy would love a home where she can roam the indoors, get good meals, and say hi and let you know she's there," volunteers said.

She will likely take some time to adjust to a new environment and may find comfort in hiding for a while until she has acclimated.

"She isn't really asking for much from you, please give her a chance," volunteers said.

Missy is also Felv/FIV negative, currently on vaccinations and parasite prevention, altered and microchipped.
