Babylon Council Candidate Files To Have His Name Removed From Ballot
A behavior specialist said that the candidate has exposed himself at least 10 times as she drives past his house, reports say.
TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — Babylon Town Council Candidate Kevin Sabella has submitted a certificate of disqualification to the Suffolk County Board of Elections to have his name removed from the November ballot, a representative for the Suffolk County GOP confirmed with Patch.
The news comes two months after Victoria Lombardi, a driver for adults with disabilities, claimed Sabella exposed himself from his Lindenhurst front door on several occasions, multiple outlets reported.
On May 25, Lombardi recorded video on her phone of the naked pol, the New York Post reported. In an 8-second video she took while driving, the GOP candidate was captured standing stark naked behind the clear front door of his home. She posted an account of the incident to Facebook and said she filed a report with Suffolk County police.

Steven Losquadro, Esq., counsel for the Suffolk County GOP, confirmed with Patch that Sabella is now a resident and registered voter in Montgomery, Maryland.
Moving to another voting district disqualifies one's campaign for public office, he said.

"If you're a registered voter in another jurisdiction, then you're no longer eligible to vote here," said Losquadro. "And as a consequence, you also would no longer be eligible to hold public office here. That is the act of disqualification."
Sabella is a financial service professional at NYLIFE Securities, LLC., according to his LinkedIn profile.
Patch has attempted to reach Sabella and has yet to hear back. Patch also reached out to the Babylon Republican Committee and the Suffolk County Board of Elections for comment.
Suffolk County police told Patch they cannot comment on the investigations of specific individuals.
