Babylon Community Honors Children’s Cancer Awareness Month
The Town of Babylon is honoring Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by uniting with the Christina Renna Foundation.

BABYLON, NY — September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the Town of Babylon is honoring it by participating in the Gold Ribbon Campaign spearheaded by the Christina Renna Foundation, which honors the legacy of a Lindenhurst teenager who died in 2007 after battling a rare soft-tissue cancer.
The foundation is dedicated to supporting children’s cancer research and furthering awareness and education through the support of cancer groups and outreach programs for the direct support of those in need.
Throughout September, the Town of Babylon will participate in the Gold Ribbon Campaign by illuminating the foliage surrounding Babylon Town Hall with gold lights and gold bows in honor of children who are battling cancer.
