Babylon Man Charged With Hit and Run and DWI
Resident arrested for hitting a 16-year-old bicyclist and leaving the scene.

According to Riverhead Town police, Timothy Corcoran of Babylon was driving while intoxicated on Route 105 on Friday night and hit a teenaged bicyclist from Flanders. Corcoran was later arrested at a nearby McDonald's by New York State Police and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
The teenager was treated for non-life threatening injuries. According to police Corcoran hit the bicylist at 10:35 p.m. and was apprehended a short time later. Corcoran was arraigned today.
