The man had prior burglary convictions and was on parole at the time, the DA says.

BABYLON, NY — A Babylon man was sentenced to 16 years to life in prison on Monday for burglarizing a home in 2022 while on parole for another crime, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced.
On May 4, 2022, Joe Osorio, 58, broke into a home in Babylon through a basement window and stole numerous items, according to evidence.
One of the items he stole - a key fob for a vehicle - was equipped with an Apple air tag, which allowed the Suffolk County Police Department to track its location to the vicinity of the Osorio’s address, prosecutors said.
