Babylon Students Hit the Books

School district has successful first day of class on Monday.

The transition from the long days of summer to the early fall provided a picturesque backdrop for students in the Babylon School District as they returned to school on Sept. 9.

Dressed in their newest apparel, equipped with the necessary back-to-school supplies and eager to learn, the students were greeted by Superintendent of Schools Richard Rozakis, their buildings’ principals and members of the teaching staff upon arrival.

Teachers guided the younger students to their classrooms, while seasoned upperclassmen aided the incoming seventh-graders throughout the day.
