Babylon Tuna Club Running Toy & Clothing Drive
Donated items will go to children from homes with domestic or drug abuse.

The Babylon Tuna Club will be holding a Toy and Clothing Drive aim at helping children in domestic and homeless shelters this holiday season.
The toy and clothing drive, which began a little over a week ago, will continue until December 20.
"The Tuna Club decided to do something different this year in a way of giving back to the community," said Mary Adams, chairperson for the Babylon Tuna Club. "This year, we've selected children with Woman of Substance." The children have come from homes with domestic and drug abuse.
The 2012 holiday drive by the Tuna Club helped collect toys for children of families affected by Hurricane Sandy in Babylon Village and nearby areas.
Multiple businesses in Babylon Village and nearby are helping take part in the collection drive, including:
- Pandemonium
- Plesser's
- Bunger Surf Shop
- Nassau Fire Apparatus
- Babylon Honda
- Astoria Federal
- Bagelicious
- Trophy Tackle
- Suffolk Marine
"If they're not wrapped – no big deal, we'll wrap them," Adams said.
