BABYLON, NY — Long Island fishers have spoken: The Laura Lee Fleet was named "Best Fishing Boat on Long Island" for the fifth consecutive year, according to Bethpage Federal Credit Union's Best of Long Island awards.
Located at 3500 Ocean Pkwy. in Babylon, Captain Neil Delanoy and his Laura Lee crew have been fishing the waters of the Great South Bay and Fire Island since 1974.
"The Laura Lee Fleet’s popularity has grown tremendously and is a testament to its crew’s unique ability to make its riders feel like honorary shipmates," its description stated. "The team is always prepared to help you haul in the catch of the day and make your fishing voyage simply unforgettable."

The fleet has two vessels: the Laura Lee and the super-fast Laura Lee Express.
Both boats are Coast Guard inspected and approved with the latest safety, navigation, and fish finding equipment, the website said.
