Do You Believe In Magic? Check Out Babylon's Adoptable Pet Of The Week

TOWN OF BABYLON, NY — If you're still waiting on your acceptance letter to Hogwarts, or maybe for a fairy godmother to change your outfit, why not take action into your own hands and let some "Magic" into your own home.

Magic, a black pit-bull terrier, is Babylon Animal Shelter's Pet of The Week.

The shelter told Patch that he arrived on October 17, 2022 in "terrible" condition. He was emaciated and had wounds throughout his body, volunteers said.

" He was a trooper from day one though, and he has developed into a happy, sweet boy here," the shelter said.

Magic does have exercise needs, but nothing extraordinary for regular maintenance.

He enjoys walks and getting to let loose in the yard as time is available.

"Based on his condition coming in, Magic likely did not have much exposure to living inside a home and he will need training and the time to acclimate to that," the shelter said. "He is very willing to learn though and with guidance and love, we know he will become a great addition to your home!"

Magic is estimated to be between 3 to 5 years old.
