Community 'Mourning Tragic Loss' of LI Judge, Killed In Crash
Judge Dawn Jimenez-Salta was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday, police said.
It "represents a new chapter in Long Island's growth story and exemplifies our vision for vibrant, sustainable communities," Governor says.
The decision was made at an emergency meeting Monday, officials said. It comes after cops say a student was found with a gun.
The 25-year-old suffered multiple brain bleeds and required surgery. "His life forever changed," the organizer of the fundraiser wrote.
He approached her at a local business and continued to make comments despite her telling him her age, police say.
