Firefighters Battle House Fire In West Babylon: FD

Suffolk County Police Arson Squad is investigating a house fire that the West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department extinguished on Monday.

WEST BABYLON, NY — Firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out at a West Babylon residence on Monday, Suffolk County police told Patch.

Firefighters from the West Babylon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire on Gordon Avenue around 8 p.m., according to fire department officials.

Police told Patch that the home was evacuated and that Arson Squad detectives are investigating.
