Demolition on a long vacant doctor's office in West Babylon has begun in preparation for new tenants just to the east of the former bundling.
The former doctor's office was shown missing and as a future parking lot on a brochure for the landlords of the Great South Bay Shopping Center. A new Red Robin restaurant is expected to take over a corner store previously occupied by GNC.
The demolition crew was wrapping up work on Friday afternoon. Fencing around the work area goes up to the current Justice/Brothers store, so expect more work throughout next week.
