Guide To Local Food During Coronavirus Shutdowns
Babylon restaurants are expanding to-go options. Here's where to eat and support local businesses.

BABYLON, NY — Last night at 8 p.m. New York State restaurants and bars closed their dining rooms to help slow the spread of coronavirus. But Babylon-area restaurants are offering more delivery and takeout options as they try to stay open during the pandemic. Residents interested in helping support small businesses during the COVID-19 shutdown period can order food at these establishments. Businesses across Long Island are offering expanded delivery; some are organizing curbside pickup and others will bring orders to customers' cars.
Stork's Prime Meats is offering delivery service before 3 p.m. through the end of March to West Islip, Babylon and Bay Shore residents who make a minimum $35 purchase. Customers can also pick up curbside orders at the butcher shop.
Molto Vino is offering 15 percent off pickup or delivery orders over $50. Also, anyone spending over $100 will receive a complimentary bottle of wine to go with the pasta, pizza, appetizer and panini menu.

Lily Flanagans Pub will be open for curbside food pickup and deliveries. Delivery is free for orders over $25. There will be traditional Irish dishes available today for St. Patrick's Day.
Del Fuego Tex Mex Kitchen is fulfilling takeout orders from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. The restaurants is offering 15 percent off, and curbside pickup as well.

Pizza and pasta delivery isn't new, but Mulberry Street is now able to offer cocktails and bottles and glasses of wine via delivery and curbside pickup. The Italian staple is currently offering 30 percent off alcohol.
Tricia's American Cafe will be open for takeout and will continue offering their burger and wings specials on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Gemelli Fine Foods will deliver orders over $50 for free and is doing a 10 percent discount on orders over $100.
