Heritage Walk Organized for Babylon Village This Sun.
Roughly two-mile walk will point out historical heritage places throughout the village.

The Babylon Village Heritage Conservancy will be hosting their first Heritage Walk throughout the village on Sunday.
The Heritage Walk will take a group throughout historical points and village heritage sites throughout Babylon on Sunday morning.
The route will begin at the Farmer's Market at the Long Island Rail Road station parking lot, head north to Southards Pond through to Southards Lane and south on Deer Park Avenue.
Dr. Michael Beck will also lead the walk through the pond, helping identify migratory birds. Binoculars are suggested to sight-seeing there.
The first 20 participants who sign up and complete the walk will receive vouchers for a produce discount at the market, offered by the "Creating Healthy Places in Suffolk County" initiative.
Sign ups will take place for the roughly two mile walk at the Farmer's Market that morning before leaving at 9 a.m.
