Holiday Pet Adoption Party Links Animals With Forever Families
The Babylon Animal Shelter is hosting a holiday meet-n-greet on Saturday with adoptable pets hoping to meet their forever families.
BABYLON, NY — The Babylon Animal Shelter is full, despite 4.1 million shelter animals getting adopted yearly and around 920,000 cats and dogs ending up euthanized.
That means an abundance of dogs, cats, and other furry friends looking for love are waiting to be matched with their forever families just in time for the holidays.
This weekend, the shelter is taking action to connect pets with new homes by hosting an event on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter in Amityville.
