LI Man Killed His Father: Police
The man's mother told police her son had strangled her husband inside their home Friday.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A 34-year-old man is accused of killing his father inside their Long Island home Friday afternoon.
According to Suffolk police, officers responded to Phillips Walk at a Fairfield apartment complex in West Babylon after a woman called 911 at about 12:55 p.m. and said her son had strangled her husband.
Officers responded and found 64-year-old Robert Taylor, police said.

Homicide Squad detectives arrested his son, James Taylor, at the scene across the street from West Babylon High School and charged him with second degree murder.
James Taylor will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip June 11.
