LONG ISLAND, NY — Still trying to figure out what to do this weekend? You're in luck.

This weekend, there's plenty to celebrate. With Father's Day on Sunday, June 18, spend time with dad on a hike or to Adventure Park at Long Island, where he can get free admission. If dad is more into arts and music, check out the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit in Westbury, where he gets free admission on Sunday

Juneteenth, which commemorates the date on which federal troops freed the last of the enslaved people in the United States, falls on Monday, June 19. Hamlets across Long Island plan to honor the historic and important holiday throughout this weekend.
