Man Steals Tip Jar Money From Suffolk Restaurant: News 12
The man stole money from the restaurant's tip jar, and also left more than $1,000 in damages.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A man broke into a West Babylon restaurant and stole a tip jar on Thursday, leaving the business to pay more than $1,000 in repairs, News 12 said.
According to surveillance video from Alitalia Pizzeria & Restaurant, located at 999 Montauk Hwy, the man was shown going through the doors and stealing money from a tip jar left on the counter.
Owners said the thief was in and out in under two minutes, News 12 said.

The man only made off with around $50 to $100, but the restaurant will need to pay over $1,000 in repairs.
Patch has reached out to Suffolk County Police for comment.
