Man Suffers Seizure, Falls Onto Tracks at Babylon LIRR

A male passenger reportedly suffered a seizure while waiting on the platform and fell onto the tracks at the Babylon Long Island Rail Road station earlier this afternoon.

According a MTA spokesperson, the man suffered a seizure at around 2:30 p.m. and fell onto the tracks soon after.

Babylon Fire Department and Suffolk County Police responded to the scene and were able to get the man off the tracks. He was seen being stretchered to a waiting ambulance soon after.

He was taken by Babylon FD ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip.

There was no update on his condition at this time.
