"We want to hold those in individuals who committed this horrific act accountable," he said.

Philistin held a bachelor's degree in sports medicine from Alfred State University, Harrison said. He also played football and was a youth coach, giving back to his community.

Marie Rosental, Philistin's mother, was joined by family and friends at the press conference, as she tearfully pleaded for her son's justice.

"Daniel was everything to me. He was my only son," she said, holding a picture of Philistin at his college graduation. "He was a good person. He didn't deserve to die like that. Please help me. "

Fast cash rewards are paid within seven days of the arrest.
