BABYLON, NY — A new burger joint is open for business in Babylon.

Lusi's, the neighboring sister restaurant of The Delica Sea, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday. Named after The Delica Sea's manager, who took over the Babylon staple about a year ago, Lusi's serves classic American fare—think burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes.

The Babylon community, including Babylon officials and councilmen Terence McSweeney and DuWayne Gregory, showed up to support the business and presented Lusi with a Certificate of Special Recognition.

According to a post on the eatery's social media page, the grand opening comes after "year of hard work at The Delica Sea."

Lusi's menu features burgers (including two veggie burgers), grilled cheese and chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, French fries and sweet potato fries, onion rings and hot dogs. To top it off, there's desserts such as milk shakes, ice cream, soft serve, floats, Italian ice and more.
