"We were visiting the West Coast looking for the next opportunity," Tochluk told Patch. "While there, we ended up trying many different Tijuana-style taco shops."
Tochluk said they were "blown away" by the "high-quality food and hand-made tortillas " offered at "reasonable prices."

"We realized it was something we would like to try on Long Island since these are not common by us," Tochluk said.
So Tochluk and Kwon teamed up with Benito Vazquez, who owns Cafe De Hoya in Elmont, and opened up shop.
Vazquez, who hails from Mexico, brings an authentic touch to the extensive menu, with recipes he "spent months perfecting."
Offerings include an array of tacos—think steak, pork, shrimp, chicken, fish, and even a vegetarian taco with flame-grilled cactus.
There's also mulitas (similar to quesadillas) freshly made salsas, churros, aqua frescas, and more.
Taco Fresco is located at 20 Railroad Ave. in Babylon. It's open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
