New Year's Closures In Babylon Village

BABYLON, NY — While many Village of Babylon residents will celebrate New Year's Eve and rest on New Year's Day, village employees will also have a long holiday.

All village offices will close at noon on Tuesday and resume normal business hours on Thursday morning.

This includes sanitation pickup,

In a social media post announcing the adjusted schedule, the village reminded residents, writing "There is no sanitation pickup at all on Wednesday, January 1st. Normal sanitation pickup schedules also resume on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025."
