Swimming And Tennis Instructors Wanted By The Town Of Babylon

BABYLON, NY — Summer's almost here and that means there are seasonal jobs to be filled in the Town of Babylon.

Babylon's Parks Department seeks tennis and swim instructors to teach lessons this summer. In particular, high school and college level instructors 16 years old and up are wanted.

According to the town, tennis instructors will teach children ages 7 to 15 years old basic tennis skills.

The lessons will held from July 1 to August 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Venetian Shores in Lindenhurst or at Phelps Lane in North Babylon.

Meanwhile, swim lessons run from July 1 to August 9, from 7:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the mornings at town pools. The program runs for six weeks and is a great way to gain experience working with children.
