Syosset Teen Charged In Fatal Stabbing Of 15-Year-Old At West Babylon Party: Police
The 17-year-old is accused of killing Liam Delemo during a fight outside a home on November 3, police say.
WEST BABYLON, NY — A 17-year-old from Syosset has been arrested and charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy during a large party in West Babylon last week, Suffolk County police said Monday.
The 17-year-old male, whose name is being withheld because of his age, was charged with second-degree murder, police said. He is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at First District Court in Central Islip, police said.
The charges stemmed from a deadly altercation that broke out around 10:25 p.m. on November 3 outside a home on Carlton Road, where between 90 and 100 teenagers had gathered for a party.

Liam Delemo, 15, of West Babylon, was stabbed during the fight and taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
