Taco Eating Contest, Schools Off for Rosh Hashanah on Thursday

It's Thursday – almost through the week again, Babylon! Here's a rundown of what's happening in the area.

The weather continues to stay nice as we head towards the end of the week: bright and sunny with a high of 78 degrees in Babylon. Might want to start bringing a light jacket – night time lows expected to be around 52 degrees.

Del Fuego South will hold its first annual Taco Eating Contest starting at 7 p.m. Entry for the contest is $10 for adults and $5 for children and prizes include gift cards to the Mexican restaurant.

Babylon and West Babylon Schools remain closed today for the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
